For My Kids, LLC is devoted to finding (and making where none
currently exist) products that are beneficial to our children and
our planet.
Here’s the story behind our company: Germs have always been
my nemesis. I was queen of the antibacterial wipe. When I worked in
corporate America, I frequently wiped down my desk and telephone
and always wiped down everything in any hotel room that I had to
stay in with the most powerful stuff I could find. I zapped germs
here, I zapped germs there, I zapped germs everywhere. When I was
pregnant with my first son, I began doing research. I was horrified
and dismayed to learn of the long-term damage I could be doing to
myself, my child, and my planet with these chemicals. I set out in
search of the strongest all-natural, non-toxic cleaner that I could
find. I read about Vinegar of the Four Thieves. I couldn’t
find any for sale anywhere. I made my own all-natural alternative
to antibacterial disinfectants based on the Vinegar of the Four
Thieves formula. Friends and family who would come over and see me
using it would “Ooh” and “Aah” and tell me
that I should make more to sell. I finally listened to them and
here we are.
The story behind All-Natural Hand Wash is the same one. Kids are
always touching everything, licking everything…okay, not
just kids. I wanted something that would be easy to carry and would
safely clean our hands enough until we could get to some soap and
water. Our spray uses organic essential oils and a double-distilled
witch hazel extract containing 86% Witch Hazel and only 14% alcohol
(which makes it incredibly soothing).
