America's Horticultural Communicator of the Year in 2006 and author of the best-selling book known as The Organic Lawn Care Manual, Paul Tukey is the leading anti-lawn pesticide activist in the United States today. His relentless passion to revolutionize the lawn care industry and change homeowners' attitudes about lawns is evident through the film, A Chemical Reaction. He is a former HGTV host, a magazine publisher, and former owner of one of Maine's largest lawn care companies. As a licensed pesticide applicator in the early 1990s, he developed acute chemical sensitivity due to the effects of lawn pesticides.
